FAB receives the EcoVadis Gold Medal: a milestone that rewards a journey spanning over 20 years
We have achieved the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing us in the Top 5% of companies assessed globally over the last twelve months.

Why EcoVadis certification is a benchmark for businesses
Sustainability is now a fundamental requirement in B2B relationships. International players require their partners to provide objective and documented evidence of their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. In this context, EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading assessment standards. Its methodology is based on recognized international principles, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact, and the ISO 26000 standard, and analyzes corporate performance in four key areas:
- Environment
- Work and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable sourcing
The assessment does not limit itself to certifying individual products, but also analyzes the soundness of the company’s management system by examining policies, procedures, concrete actions, and documented results, supplemented by verification of external sources.
What does it mean to get the Gold Medal?
The Gold Medal is awarded to companies that rank in the 95th percentile, or the top 5% of organizations assessed by EcoVadis in the twelve months preceding the publication of the scorecard. Starting in 2024, EcoVadis will no longer use fixed score thresholds to award medals: recognition is determined by the company’s percentile ranking within the entire database of evaluated organizations. To obtain a medal, a company must also achieve at least 30 points in each of the four evaluation areas and meet the additional eligibility criteria set forth in the methodology.
